Taoist practice is about balance. When one is active in the martial arts one needs a yoga practice that is more gentle. Tao Yin is that practice, it teaches you to breathe into your qua or abdomen with the intent of relaxing the anterior muscles of the spine, releasing tension in the whole body. There are 45 specific postures that will be explored.
In this introductory practice we will explore the reasons for practice as sell as introductory postures you can introduce into your daily routine NOW. There will be 5 future classes breaking down the other 45 postures in a way that you will understand and be able to choose your posture to strengthen specific organ systems and muscle groups to achieve balance and wellness.
